Ever since Becky could walk, she became infatuated with animals of all kind. Her first dog, Raven, was earned by establishing straight A's in elementary school, in which she proved to her parents that she could take care of a dog herself. Having many different pets, much of which included cats and dogs, Becky's desire to be around animals only grew stronger over the years. Her first volunteer gig at 14 years old was with Fidos for Freedom, a nonprofit focusing on training dogs to help the disabled. As she got older, she became more involved with animal shelters and figuring out ways to help them. During her college years she began creating donation drive events to collect much needed items for local shelters. She also puts her joy for sewing to good use by making cat beds, toys, and colorful quilts for shelters to auction off. Her professional work has generally consisted around kennel and veterinary clinics, establishing more hands on experiences with a variety of animals and breeds. Becky is Pet CPR and First Aid certified, and also an American Humane Disaster Relief Volunteer.
Friends and neighbors saw what care and compassion Becky had for animals, that calls began to come in to request her for pet sitting and daily check in's. The positive feedback received, and the joy of doing this "work" was a no brainer for Becky. It was time to make more animals feel loved... and there came Becky's Buddies!
Today, Becky's home is filled with love by her two rescue bully breeds, Brownie and Bentley, and her Maine Coon cat, Alex.
"Superb service and peace of mind. Thanks, Becky."
